SACRAMENTO, CA – Governor Gavin Newsom on October 9 signed Assembly Bill 347, authored by
Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno). AB 347 will reduce delays to ensure patients have access to medical treatment. The bill – which will go into effect on January 1, 2022 – will help hundreds of thousands of patients, especially those with chronic conditions.

FRESNO, CA – Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno) on Thursday, October 7, will hold a press conference with City of Fresno leaders to focus on the need for affordable housing in the Fresno region and throughout California.

Other speakers will include Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, Fresno Councilmember Miguel Arias, and members of the State Assembly.

SACRAMENTO, CA – Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday, September 23, signed a bill that includes allocating $30 million in State funds to establish the Fresno Future of Food Corridor, a project to establish an innovative, worldclass center devoted to promoting sustainable agriculture and jobs in the Central Valley.

Governor Newsom Signs Assemblymember Arambula’s Bill, AB 559; the New Law Will Ensure Diverse Representation on the San Joaquin River Parkway Conservancy Board

SACRAMENTO, CA – Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday, September 16, signed Assembly Bill 559, authored by Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno). The legislation will bring more diverse community representation to the governing board of the San Joaquin River Conservancy.

The new law will go into effect January 1, 2022.
