(Sacramento) - As part of the ongoing fight to make health care more affordable, Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno) announced a $1 billion funding package for California’s health care system is included in the Assembly’s budget proposal. “Today’s action shows our commitment to improving our healthcare delivery system,” Assemblymember Arambula said. “The Select Committee on Health Care Delivery Systems and Universal Coverage, over the past six months, held seven hearings with over 30 hours of testimony to identify a problem and come up with some potential solutions.
