(Fresno) - While introducing a bill to provide emergency housing assistance to students at risk of becoming homeless, Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno) spoke about the importance of helping at-risk students stay in college. “It is a sad reality that many of our students go to bed hungry and are worried about where they are going to sleep at night, when they should be focusing on their dreams and aspirations,” said Assemblymember Arambula. “I am pleased to co-author AB 2784 which will help fight homelessness and hunger insecurity faced by many of our college students.” For more information about this legislation, watch this Assembly Access Video.
