(Fresno, CA) – Doctor Joaquin Arambula, State Assemblymember from Fresno, brought together experts and officials for a public discussion about bringing a medical school to the Central Valley. Dr. Arambula, and everyone else in attendance, said the best way to meet the growing health care needs of the underserved communities of the Fresno region is to build a new medical school. The hearing was held at one of the possible sites for a new medical school, the UCSF Fresno Center for Medical Education and Research.
