(Orange Cove, CA) - Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula in partnership with VSP Global and local VSP network doctors will host a vision care clinic in Orange Cove on Friday, May 12th.
The mobile eye care clinic will provide Orange Cove adults and children in need with no-cost eye exams and glasses. Services are open to the public and available on an appointment-only basis. VSP will bring their state-of-the-art Eyes of Hope mobile eye care clinic to the Orange Cove where a local VSP network doctor will provide no-cost comprehensive eye exams to residents in need of care. Services are open to the public and available on an appointment-only basis.
“Regular vision examinations are an important component of health care,” said Assemblymember Arambula. “An eye exam not only determines whether or not a person needs a corrective prescription, it can also detect other vision problems, assess eye health and screen for eye disease.”

WHO: Patient Qualifications:
- Family income up to 200% of the federal poverty guidelines for family size
- Haven’t received eye care through a VSP program during the last 12 months
- Not available for any item already covered by vision insurance, including government programs
