(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno) spoke passionately to the California Water Commission about the impact Temperance Flat dam would have in his community. “I implore you to take a second look at Temperance Flat and to find a way to provide funding for it.” Assemblymember Arambula said. “While the San Joaquin Valley has some of our highest poverty rates, we also have communities that lack access to clean drinking water. These rural communities would benefit from groundwater recharge that comes from Temperance Flat dam.
