(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula (D-Fresno) spoke about the importance of finding practical ways to expand access to health care at a hearing of the Assembly Select Committee on Health Care Delivery Systems and Universal Coverage. “This committee’s charge is to find workable solutions that will expand health care coverage and increase access to care – that is why I believe today’s hearing may be the most important hearing we’ve had so far,” Assemblymember Arambula said. “If we can identify implementation considerations and challenges, we’ll understand the challenges we face in improving our health care system.” Watch this Assembly Access video to learn more about California’s health care system.
